Title: USS AUGUSTA (CA-31)
Caption: Shortly after two bombs fell off her starboard quarter from a Chinese Air Force Northrop 2E bomber. The incident took place shortly after 4:30pm on the afternoon of Saturday, 14 August 1937. There were no casualties but fragments showered the ship. The AUGUSTA was mistaken for a Japanese ship.
