Title: SS PRESIDENT HOOVER
Caption: Attacked by Chinese bomber aircraft while anchored in the estuary of the Yangtze River at 5:40pm on the afternoon of 30 August 1937. Seven crew members were injured (one later died) and three passengers were stunned as a result of the one hit and three near misses on the Dollar Line ship.
