Caption: Lies moored on the Saigon river at the Vietnamese Navy Fleet Command pier in the Vietnamese Naval shipyard. YR-24 was assigned to Saigon in November 1967. The repair ship's primary mission is to overhaul and repair Vietnamese Navy motorized patrol gunboats (PGMs). Her secondary job is to train Vietnamese sailors in the use of repair and manufacturing machinery found on board, August 1968.
