Caption: Library goes to the cavalry. Navy Yeoman Third Class James Gillespie (center) delivers a consignment of magazines and paperback books to the first air cavalry division. On left, U.S. Army PFC Leroy E. Chormicle scans some appropriate reading delivered to the division's battle headquarters at an KHE. At right is S/SGT. Russ Stapleton, the division librarian. This consignment was airlifted from Saigon. The Navy Command maintains branch libraries in six locations through out Vietnam. Monthly shipments of books and magazines are made to all U.S. forces in Vietnam.
