The engraving is from an drawing by Harry Fenn, after a sketch by Rear Admiral Henry Walke, who commanded Carondelet at the time. A virtually identical print appears in Battles and Leaders of the Civil War, Volume I, page 440. U.S. Naval History and Heritage Command Photograph.
