Description: (U.S. Army Transport) Underway, circa 1946-1950. This ship became USNS General J.H. McRae (T-AP-149) in 1950. The original image is printed on a postcard which was mailed 11 August 1969. The ship's markings strongly indicate that the photograph was taken about two decades earlier, while she was in U.S. Army service. Donation of Charles R. Haberlein Jr., 2007.
