Title: SS SHOUN MARU (Japanese cargo ship)
Caption: Diver recovers a relic from the ship's wreck, off Rota, Marianas, Spring 1978. Taken by Ron Strong. She was sunk by aircraft from USS WHITE PLAINS (CVE-66) on 23 June 1944. Her wreck is in about 90 feet of water, some 500 yards offshore.
