Caption: the two center spans of the Dap Cau Railroad-highway bridge 19 miles Northeast of Hanoi lay in the Cau River after being hit by air force F- 105 pilots, 14 July 1966. the six-span, steel structure carried traffic on the only Northeast-South-West rail line linking Hanoi and Southern China. this photo was taken by an RF--100 Voodoo reconnaissance pilot of the 460th tactical wing immediately following the strike the structure, the closest bridge to hanoi hit by air force strike pilots, measured 510 feet long and 20 feet wide.
