Ships known to have worn this pattern (in Measures 32 and 33) included USS Canberra (CA-70), USS Quincy (CA-71) and USS Pittsburgh (CA-72). This plan, showing the ship's port side, is dated 30 December 1943 and was approved by Captain Henry A. Ingram, USN. Official U.S. Navy Photograph, now in the collections of the National Archives.
