Description: Sailors gamble on board their ship during a scene from the U.S. Navy training film "The Story of DE-733," produced in conjunction with Paramount. The film, also known as "Ship of Shame," examined the problems of sexually transmitted diseases. Image taken from a photo album documenting the operations of the U.S. Naval Photographic Services Depot, Hollywood, CA, during World War II.
