Title: Naval Training Center San Diego Photo Collection
Description: Collection of 73 images related to NTC/NTS San Diego mostly the Patternmaker and Molder School circa 1950-1990s (class and group photographs). Other imagery consists of various buildings, aerial views of the base, unit/company photographs, and an unidentified ship with members of its crew as well as civilians onboard, circa early 1920s to 1960s. Two of the prints include image of “D” Camp at the US Naval Training Station, San Diego – when the base was nothing more than tent housing. The majority of the aerial, base, and company photographs are oversized panoramic images. Also included is an oversized print of President Wilson speaking at a stadium in San Diego, September 19, 1919.
