Repulsing the attack of 14 boats containing 400 men from the British ships Plantagenet 74' - Rota 44, and Carnation 18 guns. The General Armstrong was 246 tons burthen Carried 6 nine pounders and a long Tom (42 pounder,) amid ships and a crew of 90 men. The British loss was 120 killed and 130 wounded - Americans lost 2 killed and 7 wounded."
