Politesse (S. P. 662)

A former name retained.

Politesse (S. P. 662) was built by J. R. Robertson, Waltham, Mass., for Frederick G. Hood and acquired by the Navy under charter 17 April 1917. During World War I she served on section patrol out of Boston. Politesse was returned to her owner 5 July 1918.
