Caption: The station hospital in Saigon is the only U.S. Navy hospital in the world which treats combat casualties direct from the field. A converted apartment house, the building is undergoing a $100,000 expansion program to improve its ability to care for U.S. personnel in the southern part of Vietnam. Photo received by Naval Photo Center in February 1965.
