Artifacts from the wreck of the blockade running steamer ELLA
Which had been chased ashore near the Western Bar Inlet, Cape Fear River, North Carolina, on 3 December 1864. These items, including a deep-sea lead, a port hole and cover, and a door lock, were taken from the wreck during the 1960s.
