4th Grade: Ocean Exploration Map Activity

Coastal exploration led to the discovery of a deep underwater canyon off the coast of Point Hueneme. Fourth grade students will explain the relationship and interdependence of human activities and the environment, and how these relationships affect the distribution and movement of people, goods, and ideas. The Museum uses the California History Social-Science Framework to develop activities and programs.
