U.S. Navy Response to 1906 San Francisco Earthquake and Fire

This pamphlet discusses the aid provided by the United States Navy to San Francisco following the April 18, 1906, earthquake and fire. Fourteen U.S. Navy vessels provided extensive humanitarian aid and emergency response. The assistance by U.S. Navy Sailors also helped the city to eventually rebuild.
