Join the National Museum of the U.S. Navy and the Navy Art Gallery as we open the exhibit, "Fly Navy!  To the Moon."  This exhibit showcases the Navy's involvement in the U.S. Space Program.  Join experts from the Museum and the Art Gallery as they lead visitors through this brand new exhibit.   The event begins at noon each day.  Come by and join us to the journey...to the Moon!

Tuesday:  Gale Munro, Head Curator for the Navy Art Gallery, will be speaking about the Navy Art Collection pieces that are used in the exhibit. 

Wednesday: Gordon Calhoun, Historian and Curator from the National Museum of the U.S. Navy, will be leading visitors through the exhibit and sharing the stories of the U.S. Navy and the Space Program. 

Thursday:  Wes Schwenk, Collections Manager from the National Museum of the U.S. Navy, will be speaking about the artifacts, and the care of, that are used in the exhibit.
