In collaboration with D.C. Public Library and the United States Navy Band, the museum presents a ceremonial, classical, and popular musical repertoire in honor of the nation’s veterans past and present.
Featuring the Navy Band’s honored chamber ensemble woodwind quintet, the performance will be held in the library’s new 250 seat auditorium, located on the 4th floor of the building.

Formed in 1985, the Navy Band Woodwind Quintet maintains a varied repertoire dating from the 18th to the 20th centuries. The quintet includes Musicians 1st Class Allison Fletcher, flute; Joshua Arvizu , oboe; Tyler Worosello, clarinet; Chief Musician Jennifer Stokes, bassoon; and Musician 1st Class Nathaniel Willson, horn.

The Navy Band Woodwind Quintet presents recitals at concert halls, churches, libraries, museums and parks throughout the National Capital Region. They frequently participate in the Navy Band's Music in the Schools program, demonstrating instruments for elementary and secondary school students. Woodwind quintet members are often featured soloists with the Navy Concert Band.

Mask Guidelines: A mask is required for all visitors while inside the library.
