USN 711009: Surcal I Satellite

USN 711009:  Surcal I Satellite.   Unique addition to the U.S. satellite program is the Naval Research Laboratory’s Surcal I, launched to provide calibration for the Navy Space Surveillance System, the eight-pound drum remains attached to the launch vehicle of the Composite I payload.
