This section contains imagery of a TV-type camera which photographed from Lunar Probes.   Constructed at the Naval Ordnance Test Station, China Lake, California, the unit was designed to scan the surface of the Moon from horizon to horizon, gradually covering the whole Moon's surface as the satellite advanced around the Moon.

Also in this section are photographs of the Aviation Medical Accelerator Laboratory (AMAL) at the Naval Air Development Center at Johnsville, Pennsylvania, during the late 1950s.  This location was used for flight simulation training for the Project Mercury astronauts.
