USN 710026: Ill-fated take off of F4U from USS Boxer (CV-21)

USN 710026:  Ill-fated take off of F4U from USS Boxer (CV-21) operating with Task Force 77, off Inchon, Korea, September 16, 1950.  Pilot was Ensign James Brogan, USN.   Rescued pilot suffering from shock and superficial burns is transferred to sick bay.  This image is provided to show the courage it took to fly during these initial missions.
