U.S. Naval Air Station: Moutchic, France
The U.S. Naval Air Station at Moutchic, France was established in August 1917 as a flight and ground training station with Lieutenant John L. Callan in command. The first flight operations began in September. The air station in southwestern France was disestablished in January 1919.
