Schedule a Classroom Visit or Lecture


Bring the National Museum of the United States Navy to Your School!


Outreach programs allow teachers the luxury of staying in school and having our educators come to them!   We offer programs for 1st through 8th grade on a number of subjects including history and science.   Programs are designed to be presented to one class group of approximately 25 students at a time and for the students to come to the presentation rather than moving the presentation.   Programs are limited to one topic per dday.  Program length is 50 minutes per class.   Programs are available Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays, other times may be available, please inquire.

Please note that due to enhanced security, the National Museum of the U.S. Navy requires two-weeks notice to schedule a group tour.

Looking for a guest speaker?  The National Museum of the U.S. Navy offers a variety of year-round and summer programs appropriate for libraries, organizations, church groups, retirement centers and nursing homes.  Some talks are also available in the evening and on weekends.
