Letters to the Museum
In 2017, the National Museum of the U.S. Navy introduced its first distance learning program, Letters to the Museum. This educational program encourages parents and teachers to incorporate penmanship and traditional style of writing skills in the classroom and everyday use. Students can ask a range of questions from historical events to how a museum operates. If they have a question on an artifact, the museum historians and staff will be happy to answer. If you are interested in taking part in this program, contact the museum at: 202-433-4995.
