Ever wonder about the role of animals in the Navy? Come out to the museum on May 12, 2018 from 1:00 pm until 4:00 pm as we celebrate "Navy Tails Day".

For this celebration, visitors will be able to tour our newest exhibit, "Navy Tails: Animals in the U.S. Navy."   This exhibit, which opens to the public on April 27th, highlights the important role animals have played in U.S. Naval history.  On this day will have presentations by Naval Station Great Lakes Military Working Dogs and the Naval Station Great Lakes Veterinary Clinic Staff. We will also have kid-friendly animal-themed craft activities!

As always, service animals are welcome but please leave your own pets at home!
