SPECIAL EVENTS

USS CONSTITUTION supports special events on the ship as much as possible. Please note however that special tours, retirements, change of commands, and promotions must be conducted outside of the ship's tour hours which are:
10 a.m.-4 p.m. Thurs-Sun Nov. 1- March 31
10 a.m.-6 p.m. Tues-Sun April 1- Sept. 30
10 a.m.-4 p.m. Tues-Sun Oct. 1-Oct. 31
Events cannot be conducted during the 20 minutes prior to local sunset due to the firing of the ship's saluting battery for evening colors.
All events are granted on a case-by-case basis.

USS CONSTITUTION receives requests for events nearly every day, and we are unable to approve all requests simply due to crew size and shipboard availability. Both the executive officer and commanding officer review each request and make every effort to approve all reasonable requests.

Once completed, email the form to constitution.events@navy.mil or fax it to (617) 242-2308. If mailing the request, print out the special events request form (above) and mail to:
