NOTE: There is a fourteen year gap in the VF/VFA-102's submission of a history/command operations report. This history/command operations report is one of the few reports that is identified for permanent retention by the Navy Department. Due to the gap in submission of the squadron's history/command operations report there is very little information available that will identify what types of operations the squadron may have participated in during the past fourteen years. The failure to submit these reports is akin to doing nothing for those years. This is very unfortunate since we are sure the squadron participated in important operations in the defense of our country.
