The NASA Historical Reference Collection includes biographical and subject files comprising some 2,000 cubic feet and dating from 1910 to the present. The files contain press releases, reports, correspondence, clippings from periodicals, photographs, and oral history interviews on all aspects of aeronautics and astronautics. There are materials documenting the activities of naval personnel assigned to NASA and naval recovery forces, as well as materials on scientific and technical cooperation between NASA and the U.S. Navy.
