Ransom B. Fuller

1917-1918 

Ransom B. Fuller retained the name she carried at the time of her acquisition by the Navy. 

(Barracks ship: tonnage 2,329; length 317'6"; beam 40'1")

Ransom B. Fuller, a wooden passenger ship built in 1902 by the New England Co., Bath, Maine, was acquired by the Navy on 26 November 1917 on charter from the Eastern Steamship Corp., New York, N.Y.

She served as a barracks ship at New London, Conn., until returned to her owner on 15 April 1918.
