USS Stephen W. McKeever Jr., a 136-foot patrol vessel, was built in 1911 at Noank, Connecticut, as the 223 gross ton fishing vessel of the same name. McKeever Jr. was used as a minesweeper in the waters of the 4th Naval District. Stricken from the list of Naval vessels in late March 1919, she was sold at the beginning of July 1919.
