-- U.S. NAVY SHIPS --
USS Missouri (BB-11) in 1903-1910
This page presents overall views of USS Missouri from
her commissioning in December 1903 into 1910.
During 1903 to early 1909, Missouri wore the white and
buff paint of the pre-1909 battle fleet. Up her return from the
World cruise of the "Great White Fleet", in February
1909, she was repainted grey and fitted with a new "basket"
(or "cage") foremast. The ship retained this configuration
for about a year.
For additional picture coverage on this ship, her crew and
activities, see the pages linked from:
USS Missouri, Selected Views.
If you want higher resolution reproductions than the Online
Library's digital images, see "How
to Obtain Photographic Reproductions."
