    USS Frederick (Armored Cruiser # 8) at anchor in harbor, circa 1917-1920.
    Port quarter (very tight on the stern) surface view. Smoke is rising from the ship's after smokestack, her ensign is flying from her stern staff and boat booms are rigged out. A lighter is off Frederick's starboard quarter, with its boom swung out for handling cargo.
