USS Indianapolis (CA-35) in 1945

Indianapolis was overhauled at the Mare Island Navy Yard following combat damage received off Okinawa on 31 March 1945. This page features overall and closeup photographs of her taken in July 1945, at the end of that work. These views show Indianapolis as she appeared when lost about three weeks later.
