Juniata (American Motor Yacht, 1911).
Served as USS Juniata (SP-602) in 1917-1918

Juniata, a 142 gross ton motor yacht, was built in 1911 by the Robert Jacobs of City Island, New York. She was acquired by the Navy for World War I service in June 1917 and commissioned at that time as USS Juniata (SP-602). She was assigned to patrol work in the Delaware Bay area until July 1918, when she was decommissioned and returned to her owner, George W. Elkins of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

This page features the only view we have concerning the motor yacht Juniata, which was USS Juniata (SP-602) in 1917-1918.
