USS Aroostook (AK-44, ex CM-3)
View on board, looking forward from the stern, 18 June 1941. Taken at the Puget Sound Navy Yard, Bremerton, Washington. The ship was then in the early stages of an abortive attempt to return her to active Navy service after having been laid up since March 1931.
Note the propeller and anchor stowed on her deck.
