USS Buck (SP-1355)
Photographed during World War I.
Built in 1911, the Maryland Conservation Commission motor boat Buck was ordered delivered to the Navy on 17 August 1917 and placed in service on 13 September 1917. She was placed out of commission and returned to her owner on 27 November 1918.
The original photograph is in Record Group 19-LCM in the National Archives.
