Homecoming of the "Great White Fleet",

Battleship firing salutes, during ceremonies welcoming the fleet home at the end of its World cruise.
This ship is either USS Mississippi (Battleship # 23) or USS Idaho (Battleship # 24), neither of which participated in the cruise around the World. Note that she wears the newly-introduced grey paint, and has been fitted with a "cage" mainmast.
