Drawing prepared by the Bureau of Ships for a camouflage scheme intended for destroyers of the DD-409 (Sims) class. It could also be adapted to the DD-380 (Gridley), DD-381 (Somers), DD-386 (Bagley) and DD-397 (McCall) classes
This plan, approved by Captain Logan McKee, USN, is dated 16 February 1944. It shows the ship's port side.
