Brighten the day and share the history of the Seabees! The U.S. Navy Seabee Museum is looking for dedicated people who care about history and want to provide the public with a great visitor experience!
The Seabee Museum seeks dedicated people who are interested in long term volunteering.
Opportunities:Visitor Services: be the face of the museum by greeting visitors
Docent: providing guided tours to public and school groups
Educational Activities: developing and providing support for educational programs
Collections: working with the curator or archivist on special projects
We want to provide the visitors with the best experience possible and you can help us out by volunteering! Strong communication skills are required and volunteers need to be available to work at least a 3-4 hour shift at a time, be a team player, as well as to be able to work independently.
