    The Hampton Roads Naval Museum is an accredited museum operated by the United States Navy that celebrates the 239 years history of the fleet in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. We are located on the second floor of Nauticus in beautiful downtown Norfolk, Virginia.

    The images you see on this site, represent some of the historic events, artifacts, and people that are the focus of HRNM's mission.

    Fall/Winter Hours

    The Hampton Roads Naval Museum is operating under fall/winter hours:

    Closed Monday
    Tuesday-Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
    Sunday from Noon to 5 p.m.

    As always, admission is FREE!

    Teacher-in-Residence Summer Position

    This summer, HRNM will be hiring a Hampton Roads area teacher to develop online educational curriculum. This teacher will receive a stipend, and applications are due on Friday, March 4, 2016.
