    Welcome

    The Hampton Roads Naval Museum is an accredited museum operated by the United States Navy that celebrates the 237 years history of the fleet in the Hampton Roads region of Virginia. We are located on the second floor of Nauticus in beautiful downtown Norfolk, Virginia.

    The images you see on this site, represent some of the historic events, artifacts, and people that are the focus of HRNM's mission.

    Fall Hours

    The Museum is operating under Fall Hours. Closed Monday, Tuesdays-Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

    As always, admission is FREE!

    Tours of Naval Station Norfolk

    The Museum and its foundation are co-sponsors of bus tours of Naval Station Norfolk. The 45-mintue tour is conducted by Naval personnel. Visitors will have an opportunity to see several different types of warships and one of the busiest airfields in the country. The tour also features historic homes from the 1907 Jamestown Exposition.

    From now until Oct 31 there are four tours a day: 11 a.m.; 12 noon; 1 p.m. (1300) and 2 p.m. (1400). Cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 3-11 and senior citizens over the age of 60. A photo ID is required. Tour busses are not handicapped accessible.
