Anchor and Blades, Companies 14 and 15
			Just as a high school yearbook brings back fond memories, the various Naval Training Stations and Centers have had their "cruise books".  Since WWII, men who went through boot camp at Great Lakes, keep a "Keel" as a prized possession but for a few short years after WWII until 1951, women who went through boot camp here had their own "Anchor and Blades". This "Anchor and Blades" is shared with you through the kindness of Mrs. Juanita Phillips (nee Juanita Ledbetter, Company 15) and her grand-daughter, HMSN Julie Krakowiak.
