Bell from USS Hoga

USS Hoga

Launched 31 December 1940, Hoga served as a harbor tug in Pearl Harbor on 7 December. She valiantly fought ship fires and helped save USS Nevada. Hoga served throughout World War II. She was loaned to the city of Oakland, California in June 1948 as a harbor tug and fireboat. In 1996 she was retired and currently is moored in San Francisco.
