Japanese Operational Aircraft
"Know Your Enemy!"
CinCPac - CinCPOA Bulletin 105-45
Since the publication of Japanese Operational Aircraft (CINCPAC-CINCPOA Bulletin No. 105-45) which was issued as an enclosure to Weekly Intelligence, Vol. 1, No. 44, certain revisions have been necessary. This pamphlet is being issued so that the manual previously distributed may be brought up to date.
The 22 pages which follow contain changes in silhouettes or photographs of Japanese planes. These pages should be substituted for correspondingly numbered pages in the original publication. (It will be noted that each of the new pages carries the date July 1945, indicating the time of revision).
Revisions in the text of certain other pages of the original publication also should be made as follows:
TABLE OF CONTENTS: Tokai to LORNA 11.
INDEX: Delete TOKAI, insert LORNA 11, on Page 57.
All dates on these pages should be changed to read July.
Silhouettes used in the publication, as revised, were prepared by Technical Air Intelligence Center, NAS, Anacostia,
D.C, except for the following:
These were prepared as interim material by CINCPAC-CINCPOA and have been published in WEEKLY INTELLIGENCE.
All specifications and performance figures, except Tactical Radius, are from the Technical Air Intelligence Center.
Photographs of JACK 21, GEORGE 11, TOJO 2, FRANK 1, JUDY 33, NICK 1 and DINAH 3 were taken of aircraft repaired and flown by Technical Air Intelligence Unit, FEAF, SWPA.
Photographs of interim models of GEORGE 11 and GRACE 11 were prepared by CINCPAC-CINCPOA.
