LST-S64 was laid down on 3 September 1942 at Quincy, Mass., by the Bethlehem Steel Co.; launched on 26 October 1942; sponsored by Mrs. Harold B. Buse; and delivered to and commissioned by representatives of the United Kingdom on 7 December 1942. She was sunk due to enemy action in February 1945 and struck from the Navy list on 11 July 1945.
