Dallas (CA 150)

Dallas (CA 150) -- projected as the third Newport News (CA 148)-class heavy cruiser -- was to have been built at Camden, N,J., by the New York Shipbuilding Corp., but her construction was canceled on 28 March 1945 prior to her keel-laying. The classification of CA 150 was changed to CA 140 three days later, on 31 March 1945.
