Queen Mab, also known as Mab, was a very small side-wheeler whose shallow draft made her useful in shoal waters. She served the Confederacy as a transport in the Charleston area until the evacuation of that city in February 1865, when she was seized by Union forces. She was surveyed and condemned in July 1865.
