No. 16 Spanish 12-pounder

Spanish 4.75-Inch Bronze Rifled Gun: This piece was originally manufactured as a 12-pounder smoothbore at Seville in 1829. In the mid-19th century, many such guns were rifiled as an early expedient and used until new rifled ordnance became available. Originally mounted in the defenses of Manila, it was taken during the Spanish-American War.
