No. 13 Spanish 27-pounder

Spanish 27-Pounder Bronze Gun: Also made in 1788 at Barcelona, this gun was taken in one of the gunboats captured by Decatur at Tripoli. Named "Corzo" (a type of male deer) by its maker, its simple lines are in contrast to the flamboyance of the earlier French guns displayed nearby.
