Bronze Guns of Leutze Park

No. 10 Spanish 27-pounder

Spanish 27-Pounder Bronze Gun: Cast at Barcelona in 1788, this gun armed one of the Tripolitan gunboats captured by Stephen Decatur on 3 August 1804. Many heavy gunfounders of that day gave names to their heavy guns; this one bears the proper name "Camillo."
